The LISA IOL Calculator is an artificial intelligence-based thick-lens formula, adaptable to segmented or traditional AL measurements. Currently, it provides refractive predictions for cataract patients with the following characteristics:
- LISA-Toric: For cataract patients scheduled for toric IOL implantation. It optimizes refractive outcomes for both predicted and measured posterior corneal astigmatism across different devices.
- LISA-PPV: For cataract patients with prior pars plana vitrectomy (PPV), including those scheduled for combined silicone oil removal and cataract extraction, but not for silicone oil-dependent eyes.
- LISA-MRS: For cataract patients with prior myopic refractive surgery.
- LISA-Exchange: For cataract patients with suboptimal refractive outcomes who require IOL exchange or toric IOL repositioning.
Instructions:
- Optical biometry.
- ULIB SRK/T A constant.
- Keratometry: When using the Pentacam or ASOCT for keratometry measurements, anterior corneal values at a 15° or 3 mm apex ring are recommended for this calculator.
