LISA IOL Calculator is an intelligent, thick-lens optics-based IOL refractive power calculation system. Currently, it provides refractive predictions for cataract patients with the following characteristics:
- LISA-Toric: Designed specifically for cataract patients planning to undergo Toric IOL implantation.
- LISA-PPV: Designed for cataract patients with a history of pars plana vitrectomy, including those planning silicone oil removal combined with cataract surgery. (Not applicable to silicone oil-dependent eyes)
- LISA-MRS: Designed for cataract patients with a history of myopic refractive surgery (SMILE/LASIK/PRK/RK). Historical refractive data is not required for calculation.
- LISA-Exchange: Facilitates IOL exchange or rotation of Toric IOL for patients with suboptimal refractive outcomes.

Biometry and Keratometry Settings The calculator supports multiple axial length (AL) measurement methods and keratometric data sources.
- Segmented AL: If the AL is measured using a segmented device (e.g., Argos), select "Yes" for the "Segmented AL" option; otherwise, keep the default setting of "No".

Keratometry Options: Three keratometric principles are currently supported, including simulated keratometry (K1, K2) and posterior keratometry (PK1, PK2). Do not directly input total corneal refractive power (e.g., TK, TCRP). Please select the option corresponding to your biometer/topographer (default: IOLMaster):
- Corneal reflection-based keratometry (2.5 mm zone): e.g., IOLMaster 500/700.
- Scheimpflug imaging principle: e.g., Pentacam (recommended: use keratometric values at the 3.0 mm zone).
- Anterior Segment OCT (AS-OCT) principle: e.g., CASIA2 (recommended: use keratometric values at the 3.0 mm zone)
- Silicone Oil-Filled Eyes: For patients undergoing combined silicone oil removal and cataract surgery, select "Yes" for the "Silicone Oil" option (default: "No"). Note: This option is not applicable to silicone oil-dependent eyes (where silicone oil will not be removed).
- Sulcus Implantation: If the IOL is planned for ciliary sulcus implantation, select "Yes" for the "Sulcus Implantation" option (default: "No").

Toric IOL Calculation:
- IOL Type Selection: Select a specific IOL model from the model list after enabling the Toric option. The system will automatically set Surgically Induced Astigmatism (SIA) and its axis as mandatory fields and perform calculations according to the astigmatism parameters of the selected IOL.
- Output Metrics: The calculator has built-in cylinder increments for commonly used Toric IOL models. The output includes: recommended IOL spherical equivalent (SE) power, cylinder power, optimal implantation axis, predicted postoperative SE, and residual astigmatism.
- IOL Exchange and Rotation The calculation interface requires biometry, current IOL parameters (note: for Toric IOLs, input the current axis position rather than the originally planned axis), postoperative manifest refraction, and the planned IOL parameters for the secondary surgery. The calculator supports various surgical scenarios and provides optimization results based on the current and planned IOL designs.
